The 365: Day 421
Thursday, February 25, 2010 (56/421)
The morning guys on Q101, Sherman and Tingle, took over the airwaves after Love Line, until 1:30 in the morning (while clearly severely intoxicated). They said that their contract was going to expire Sunday and that they were probably going to get fired. That was some damn fine radio.

As you might be able to imagine I inhaled this in record time. And then immediately felt terrible afterward.
Brushing my teeth to remove the lingering taste of chocolate, peanut butter, and shame.

Rufus Teague made some sauce. He put some in a jar and shared it with the boys. They kept on painin’ him ‘til he fixed up another batch. Next thing he knew he’s makin’ sauce all the time. It’s damn good.

The 365: Day 408
Friday, February 12, 2010 (43/408)
Finally after months of schedule conflicts I was able to make it out to Metro’s One Night Stand dance party. Moneypenny and Gemini Club performed live. And Kid Color, Only Children, Team Bayside High, and Skyler were laying it down on the tables.
I ran into Joe, the owner of Metro and had a brief conversation with him and gave him Violet Winter’s debut album.

Sunrise as see out the window in at my sister's house in Aurora. Appropriate because Aurora is the Roman goddess of the dawn.
My dad had surgery today so I spent the night at his place out in Crest Hill, by Aurora. I took the trash out and saw the stars for the first time since I was last in Michigan.
Here I am with my headphones on, drifting away.
